Younger Community Commitment


At Younger Auto Group our roots in the community run deep. We consider it a privilege to assist the many wonderful nonprofit charities in the Tri-State area. Making a difference and improving the community in which you live should be everyone’s goal. Here at Younger, we take it seriously and support numerous charities. Below is a quick list of some of the charities we have supported. We encourage all residents to volunteer, help and contribute to any of these wonderful causes!

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Maryland

The Maryland Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation serves our area helping the many children and adults affected by CF. Through the chapters fundraising efforts over 90% of all funds raised go directly towards sponsored medical research looking for a cure to CF. Younger through the Toyota Dealer Match program was the leading sponsor for the Chapter’s largest fundraiser the Great Strides Event.

Discovery Station

Younger Auto Group participates and contributes to a very kid-friendly place, Discovery Station. Promoting informal learning about science, technology and local history through exhibits and programs that is both educational and entertaining. Discovery Station is governed by an all-volunteer board and staff. Children and adults visit from the entire Four State region. Discovery Station is a member of ASTC (Association Science and Technology Centers ) that includes 300 other museums in the United States and 50 other countries. Discovery Station creates exciting educational experiences that stimulate a desire for discovery, exploration and life-long learning. This year through the Toyota Dealer Match program Younger was able to be a leading donator to this exciting intergenerational museum.

Hospice of Washington County (Doey’s House)

Residents of Washington County in need of in-patient pain and symptom management, respite services, or a place to be cared for with compassion and dignity in their last days will no longer need to leave the county once doors open at Doey's House, a project of Hospice of Washington County. Younger Auto Group has contributed time and money to this very worthwhile capital campaign.

Girls Inc. of Washington County

Younger Toyota has sponsored the Wine Tasting event for Girls Inc. of Washington County for several years. Funds raised go directly into programs to stop the cycle of Generational poverty. Girls Inc. strives to stop this revolving cycle by making a real and lasting impact on girls by providing opportunities and experiences that focuses on academic enrichment and support, careers and life planning, health and sexuality,leadership development and community action, sports and adventure, self-reliance and life-skills and culture and heritage and the arts.

Habitat for Humanity of Washington County

Habitat for Humanity of Washington County is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit, ecumenical housing organization. They seek to eliminate sub-standard housing and make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Working with families and volunteers of all backgrounds in equal partnership, Habitat builds homes, builds communities, and builds hope. Younger Auto Group participates in its largest fundraiser each year and all proceeds go toward building homes for sale to low-income partner families.

Renfrew Institute

Younger Auto Group continues its support of Renfrew Institute by providing dollars to conduct the Four Squares Experience held at Renfrew each year. Renfrew Institute helps people of all ages to connect with the natural world and the rich cultural heritage of our region. Through hands-on activities, they learn concepts of historic preservations, farmstead culture, folklore, plant biology, natural history, and ecology and environmental awareness. For school-aged children, Renfrew Institute provides a full range of environmental and cultural education within a beautiful setting. Using the natural park areas and historic buildings on the property, professional instructors ensure authentic learning and long-standing memories for students. CASA of Eastern Panhandle

Younger Auto Group is pleased to be a donor with CASA of the Eastern Panhandle. CASA-EP recruits, screens, trains, supervises and retains community volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates who speak up in court for the best interests of children removed from their homes as a result of child abuse and neglect in Berkeley,Jefferson and Morgan Counties of WV.

Breast Cancer Awareness – Cumberland Valley

Breast Cancer Awareness--Cumberland Valley, Inc. is an organization composed of breast cancer survivors and individuals concerned about this disease. They know the anxiety and questions a diagnosis of breast cancer can cause, and they are there to share experience and knowledge. BCA-CV has some of the most valuable information and emotional support which comes from those who have faced the same experience. Younger Auto Group is dedicated to supporting BCA-CV in it's efforts locally in Hagerstown and Washington County, Maryland.

American Cancer Society

Sponsoring Relay For Life of Washington County for Younger Auto Group is important. Each year the local overnight event raises money through donations to support cancer research, educational programs, patient services and advocacy for "ALL TYPES" of cancer. Younger is proud to be a part of "a Community that takes up the fight and together we are making a difference."

Washington County Arts Council

Younger Auto Group has been a partner with the Washington County Arts Council, Inc. and its annual "The Art of Cooking" event each year since its inception in 2010. WCAC provides significant support for many local art organizations i.e., Maryland Symphony Orchestra, The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Hagerstown Community Concerts, and area arts festivals. The arts Council was formed to aid and advise the cultural arts in Washington County, and to integrate the arts into the total life of the communities it serves.

Mason-Dixon Boy Scout Council

The Mason Dixon Council supports Boy Scouting in the entire area, promoting and developing a Value based organization. They provide programs for young peoplethat builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenshipand develops personal fitness. Your contributes annually to their Friends of Scoutingfund raiser, golf tournament and capital campaigns.

Boys & Girls Club of Washington County

Younger Auto Group is all about youth development and opportunities for children living in some of the most distressed local communities; therefore, over the years Younger has contributed significantly to the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County. The funding provided ensures that children are provided quality academic, character, and life-skill programs at seven (7) afterschool locations and five (5) summer camps.

Frederick Memorial Hospital Capital Campaign


The Frederick Memorial Hospital Business & Industry Committee founded the FMH Corporate Honor Roll to provide financial support for FMH's strategic capital goals. The Corporate Honor Roll roster includes a diverse group of more than 55 local businesses, organizations and foundations dedicated to helping FMH fulfill its commitment to serving the health care needs of our community.

Community Free Clinic

The Community Free Clinic is a primary healthcare provider seeking to remove obstacles which prevent people from maintaining their health and well-being. They are a resource that addresses the needs of the medically uninsured in Washington County, Maryland. 

Oak Hill House

Every child deserves a chance, a chance to grow and thrive, a chance to contribute to his community and to society. Though counseling, education, and job training Oak Hill House provides the support, guidance and direction that are sometimes missing in a young man’s life.

Heal of Washington County


Heal has introduced several programs which offers free to the community in an effort to inspire healthy eating and active lifestyles. Their mission is to provide free nutritional and lifestyle based resources which will help reduce the prevalence of obesity in Washington County.

Meritus Health Corporate Sponsor

Is an organization whose sole purpose is to raise support for community health improvement, education, future innovations and patient access to care by identifying and engaging new prospects, giving donors accurate and timely information, providing opportunities for meaningful engagement and appropriately recognizing support.

W House of Hagerstown

The mission of The W House is to provide intensive residential treatment services to alcohol and drug dependent women in the early stages of recovery. The W House provides and supports the delivery of the most affordable, efficient, and effective service by providing treatment, education, and relapse prevention, regardless of their ability to pay.Their goal is to return women back to society and back to their families as sober, responsible, law-abiding, productive citizens.
