Performance Feature Upgrades:

• Engine upgrade: from 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine to a  2.4-liter four-cylinder engine
• Horsepower increases from 117 hp to 126 hp
• The battery pack gets kicked up from 12 kWh to 13.8 kWh (PHEV)
• Better MPG at a 22-mile range
• The rear motor is larger too, up from 80 hp to 93 hp

Exterior/Interior Design Upgrades:

• A new dynamic shield grille 
• T-shaped headlamps with split main beams and high-set daytime running lights 
• Lower skid-plate that exudes a bold, off-road look
• Floating-roof effect
• LED tail lamps, tailgate, and rear spoiler
• Five and seven-seat configurations will be available,
• Outlander will be bigger than the current generation
